Healthy Stuff is fun

These shots are always fun to do. Health magazine has these instructional pages on how to do certain exercise moves. Its always really inspiring and I always promise myself I will do them when I get home. I'll write about it when that really happens.

Knitwear book

I was asked to style up these knits for a knit wear book. I got complete creative freedom, as long as it made the knits look cute.

XYZ studio shoot #2

How cute are these two together? Khaki was our inspiration. I love how the color treatment gives a hint from the past. Almost cinematic. It makes me want to travel to the great sahara desert in Africa.

Embarq - ad # 4 & 5

Ooh-la-la, I found these browsing on the John Kennedy & website. Amazing CG if I might say so. I am still trying to locate the last ad. I'll put it up as soon as I see it somewhere. Even though the people are tiny and wardrobe is not the focal point, I still enjoyed being part of the bigger picture.

Weight Watchers Kids Cookbook

I was delighted to work with a fresh team of super professionals, shooting a kids cookbook for Weight Watchers. And we all got so spoiled, there was a food stylist, a table top stylist and a wardrobe stylist - yours truly. The cast of kids was amazing.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Dell

Another great day on the job, what can be more fun than chillin' by the pool?
Shooting for Dell, outfits with matching laptops. I love it!

XYZ studio shoot #1

This past thursday I was at the XYZ studio to shoot with Malik and Katie from City Model. I must say, both of them are quite talented. They brought it on! Don't be surprised if you see more of them in the future. Hair & Make up by Brynn.

Cabot wood stain

I pulled another one out of the Dan Escobar box! We searched a long time but ended up finding the perfect wood carved french antique table. We also got a million different cherubs so that the CG guy could render it into this fantastic looking fellow.

SanDisk

I was browsing around on the web I found these images we shot for SanDisk. We shot a complete image library in just one week where I was responsible of providing all the props and wardrobe. I love the soccer version of the snow angel, where we shaped the grass perfectly around him. My favorite memory is the rock band. Justin and Josh really did rock their booties off.

Fast Co magazine with Gina Bianchini

Came across this image & cover that was shot by one of my favorite celebrity photographers, Art Streiber. Gina - CEO at Ning.com - was so much fun to work with, she is so different in her style than any other CEO. She's a mover & shaker and definitely has silicon valley buzzing!

RED mag - published story

Here's the story as it was published in RED magazine. Lots of text but still a cute story right?

The Gateway - props & wardrobe

This project was shot by Todd Hido for 'The Gateway'. A mid century modern - highly desirable apartment complex that has some fabulous views on the bay. We worked with a blank pallet, the apartments where empty and we got to dress the set with all these beautiful designer pieces. After this gig was done, we landed another one which was staging one of their empty apartments. It than sold the day after we staged it so I guess you can call that pretty successful!

Novartis with Eva

Right in the middle of shooting Embarq I headed to LA to shoot with Eva for Novartis. It was so much fun to shoot with all these pooches, but unfortunately we did not get our dog fix on because all the dogs where in work mode and not play mode.
I had an amazing assistant, together we took care of props, wardrobe and lint brushing (lots of dog hair everywhere). We had a super fun team of people, worked with a great art director that has amazing taste and fun local producer.

Embarq finished image #3

I can't believe this was retouched in just one week! Kuddo's to Dan.

Some more Embarq

We finished shooting all the ads for Embarq about two weeks ago. What a fun project! I think the end result will look great. My favorite moment was my assistant Ryan in a gorilla suit and my all time favorite prop was the miniature horse. It was brought to the shoot in the back of a SUV. Can I have one too???

Sunrise on an early shoot day

I ran into this amazing image I was able to capture last November. We had an awful early call time (sunrise shot) but this view was such a treat, that instantly gave us the energy to rock the rest of the day.

AT&T lifestyle images

I was browsing David Martinez his website and came across these fun images we shot for AT&T last year. Every shoot is always so much fun!
